Rajpal Yadav

Rajpal Yadav is an Indian actor who is known for his eccentric comedy. He belongs to the Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He has a good fan base in India.
Rajpal came to Mumbai in 1996 as an 23 year old theatre actor trying for a chance in a film. He was spotted by Ram Gopal Varma on the sets of RGV’s film Mast as an audience member and also as a server in a cafe. RGV gave Yadav a break and gave him a challenging role in Jungle as a sandalwood smugglers lunatic gang member. The role was negative but Rajpal also appeared in Pyar Tune Kya Kiya in a comic role. He has since acted in several comic roles in many comedy films particularly those directed by Priyadarshan. His important films include Hungama, Bhool Bhulaiya, Billu, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Chup Chupke etc.
He has also become an important supporting actor in films such as Main meri patni aur woh. He has appeared in RGV films Darna Zaroori Hain, Vaastu Shastra etc.
He is married to Lakshmi Sagar Prabhakar – a resident of Patna, Bihar and has a four year old daughter. He has appeared in over 80 films over this decade.
